Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has officially hit theaters, showing fans exactly what will happen to the titular character’s mantle. Chadwick Boseman tragically died a while before the sequel was due to start filming, so everything is up in the air. Now that the movie has finally hit theaters, we know that Shuri (Letitia Wright) is officially the next Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film has received some pretty positive reviews, with a Rotten Tomatoes score of a whopping 84% fresh. CinemaScore has also revealed that the film was awarded an A after an audience poll. Marvel Studios revealed their plans for the next three years, with two new ones avengers movies announced. Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars will both make their way to cinemas in 2025. One thing that wasn’t announced on the slate was a third Black Panther movie. Even though it’s almost guaranteed that fans will get a third Black Panther Marvel producer Nate Moore revealed in a recent interview that the studio and Ryan Coogler both want to see fans’ reaction to the highly anticipated sequel before agreeing to make a third film in the franchise.
“That’s a great question. To be honest, this isn’t my attempt at not answering the question,” Moore said. “We really want to see how the audience receives the movie, and I think Ryan is really interested in seeing how the movie plays out before we make a decision. There are definitely ideas that we’ve been floating around about what a third movie could be like. “We can make it. But until the movie comes out, we’re kind of superstitious that way. We don’t want to count our chickens, because you never know what’s going to happen.”
The most recent Marvel Studios movie to hit theaters was Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. In the sequel, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba) fight to protect their lands from intervening world powers in the aftermath. of King T’Challa’s death.
