War has been raging against Daredevil and The Punisher for months now, and the fight between the two Marvel characters finally takes place next week. Marvel Comics has released the first preview for next week’s Daredevil #8, showing the beginning of the brawl the pair were headed for. The biggest distraction from these early pages isn’t the knockdown, drag-out battle that’s clearly going to take up a lot of real estate in the issue, but the fact that Frank Castle rides a dragon into battle and is immediately before Matt Murdock .

While The Punisher and Daredevil have been going back and forth for decades, things are different this time. The latest installment of Daredevil comics from writer Chip Zdrasky sees Matt Murdock relinquish his name and commit to being the Man Without Fear full-time. He has also left the streets of New York City in favor of an island hideout where he, Elektra, and Stick all started The Fist. With this group, the trio set their sights on destroying the ninja death cult The Hand once and for all. To make things even more complicated or perhaps more interesting, the current leader of The Hand is none other than Frank Castle.
