Bids for this one of 800 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadsters have already exceeded the 2020 price of $1.04 million, with the auction scheduled to run for six days.
The online auction of a rare Lamborghini Aventador The convertible supercar – listed with no reserve price – has received bids in excess of $1.3 million and has six days until the hammer drops.
When the Aventador SVJ Roadster was launched in 2020, it became the most expensive Lamborghini model ever sold in Australia, with prices starting at US$1,042,286 plus road costs.
Lamborghini claimed that the convertible supercar’s all-wheel drive system allowed it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of “more than 350 km/h”.
According to the listing, the odometer of this Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster shows that it has been driven 920 km since it was delivered to its current owner, who is said to have bought the supercar when it was new.
The Lamborghini is one of more than 50 cars it will be featured in Lloyd’s ‘Relax’ Auction collection comprising a range of road and Australian racing cars.
The auction includes seven Holdens and four Fords that competed in either the Bathurst 1000 or the predecessor to today’s V8 Supercars series.
Bidding closes for all 56 lots in the collection on Sunday, January 29th at 2:00pm AEDT. At the time of publication, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster received a top bid of $1.37 million – excluding the 7.5 percent auction fee.
