The Last of Us’ Pedro Pascal makes hosting debut

It is the year of Pedro Pascal. Last month, the actor’s latest series – the post-apocalyptic The last of us– debuted on HBO and has become one of the most watched TV shows in the country. In a few weeks, the actor will again play the main role The Mandalorian, which will be on Disney+ for its third season starting March 1. More current than all this, however, is the actor’s hosting debut Saturday Night Live.

For the first time in his career, Pascal will be on stage at Studio 8H on Saturday evening. The actor’s time at 30 Rock comes between releases of The last of us And The Mandalorian, who were already present in the promotion opportunities of the live sketch comedy this week. As always the latest episode of Saturday Night Live begins at 11:30 p.m. Eastern and is simulcast on NBC and Peacock. Pascal is joined by Coldplay as a musical guest, and the band makes its seventh appearance in the series.

After tonight’s episode, SNL will take a two-week hiatus before returning with new episodes on February 25. There will then be three more episodes before another two-week break that will run until April 1. Beginning in April, there will be at least three more episodes until the series takes its annual spring break, then returns to wrap up season 48 before its summer hiatus.

“Are you nervous for me?” He continued to joke The tonight show earlier this week before adding, “I’m super excited. I think it’s at the top of everyone’s bucket list. I’m scared. There’s a wall of pure fear that you start with I think, and then it’s such a good Well-oiled machine. Everyone’s so amazing and talented, and they’re breaking apart these blocks of white-hot terror for you with big cue cards.”

How to watch Saturday Night Live

For the remainder of Season 48, currently expected to run through May, NBC will air new episodes live on both NBC and Peacock. Peacock also serves as the streaming vault for all SNL episodes from the start, with new episodes added the day after they air.

Virtually every SNL episode, except for the select group that has been locked away for good for various reasons, is now available to watch on the streaming service.
