The Boys Season 4 Teaser Revealed

Since we haven’t gotten any major news about the fourth season of The boys, Antony Starr took it upon himself to give fans a glimpse of the upcoming season of Prime Video’s breakthrough. With Colby Minifie’s Ashley Barrett, Vought’s brand-new CEO discusses the company’s recent achievements, including Homelander’s (Starr) approval rating reaching all-time highs despite the murder of a civilian in broad daylight.

The short teaser also shows a Vought-orchestrated conspiracy showing Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell) alive, even though viewers see the hero killed in Season 3. The teaser also shows Vought believing Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott) is dead while Starlight (Erin Moriarty) is on the run. Check it out for yourself below.

Members of the show wrapped up their parts this month for a release later this year. Both The boys Season 4 and the first live-action spin-off Gen V will debut sometime this year. The two shows are expected to intersect, but what that will look like remains to be seen.

“There is definitely crossover, and we’re doing our best to design a universe where some of the issues and storylines in Season 3 carry over into Season 1 in VarsityThe Boys showrunner Eric Kripke said last year. “Like there’s a presidential campaign going on in the background of that season, and certain things are happening at that school that are both a response to season 3 of The boys. There’s Soldier Boy and so forth, but also some new storylines that take place in that season of the spin-off that we need to pick up and include in Season 4 of the show.”

“It’s a very different corner of the world and it’s a different concern and theme, but it was interesting,” he added. “I give Kevin Feige a lot of credit because now that we’re dipping our toe into trying to build a universe and get it right… it’s hard enough to keep one goddamn show straight, but to try and keep two shows straight keep them all entertaining…is a whole new layer of that.”

The first three seasons of the boys, along with its animated spin-off Devilish, now streaming on Amazon Prime video. Season four and a new spin-off series, Gen V, will premiere in 2023.
