The upcoming action-adventure game from Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts Star Wars Jedi: Survivor received an extensive new gameplay trailer today. Dating back to last year’s first reveal Jedi: survivorRespawn has kept many of its sequels Fallen order under the cap. And while new bits of information have come in over the past few months, we now have our deepest look at the highly anticipated release yet in this new video.
Released via IGN, a new 9 minute gameplay trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was revealed. See the video Survivor protagonist, Cal Kestis, who explores the new planet of Koboh. After crashing on the planet, Kestis sets out to repair his ship, The Mantis, so that he can continue to travel across the galaxy.

Instead of focusing a lot on the story of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, this video largely gives us a glimpse at many of the new abilities Kestis will have at his disposal in this sequel. Not only does this include some new lightsaber attacks and Force powers, but it also shows off some of the new enemy types that Kestis will face. Considering that Jedi: survivor will also only be available on current generation platforms, this gameplay offers a noticeable improvement to the visuals based on what was seen in Fallen order. Overall, Survivor looks pretty good so far and should hopefully live up to the high expectations fans have of it.
After a recent delay, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor now won’t be released until April 28, which is about six weeks after the originally planned launch date. When Survivor is coming, but it will be playable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC.
