Survival Report Details Next Major Reveal

A new report related to Respawn Entertainment’s upcoming game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has detailed when we can see our next big look at the title. After its reveal earlier this year, Respawn and publisher Electronic Arts have remained incredibly quiet about the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. And while this silence has left fans wondering when more information can be shared, it sounds like we won’t have much longer to wait to see. Survivor in action.

According to video game industry reporter Jeff GrubbEA plans to highlight more of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor early Dec. Grubb hasn’t outlined when this new glimpse of the game could take place, but The Game Awards 2022 will take place at the beginning of the month on Thursday, December 8. As such, it seems likely that this location could eventually show a new trailer or the first official gameplay footage of Survivor.

As a whole, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor quite a bit withheld. Not only are we yet to see the gameplay, but EA and Respawn haven’t announced a release date either. Despite this, Grubb notes that: Survivor is currently scheduled to launch in March 2023, something we’ve heard several times in the past. While this window can always shift, it seems EA wants to keep the promotional period for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor quite short. Considering how good Fallen Order eventually sold when it launched in 2019, it’s likely this brief marketing window won’t drastically impact the sequel’s sales.

For now, EA has only committed to release Star Wars Jedi: Survivor sometime in 2023. When it arrives, it will also only be available on current-gen hardware, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
