“Stone Cold” Steve Austin looks shredded ahead of the WrestleMania season

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin looks absolutely shredded heading into the WrestleMania season. “The Texas Rattlesnake” has uploaded highlights of his recent workouts to his Instagram, fueling speculation he may be returning for another match at Wrestle Mania 39 in April in Los Angeles. The WWE legend took part in his first match since 2003 last April, agreeing to face Kevin Owens in an impromptu No Holds Barred Match. Austin looked outstanding in the 14 minute fight and reports have been surfacing for months that he is back in action.

“Morning hotel arm workout,” Austin wrote in his latest post this week. “I run at a slow clip on the treadmill between sets just for the steps. I did it in under an hour. Borrowed a triceps move from @realmattwenning page and biceps move from @athleanx page.”

Will Steve Austin wrestle at WrestleMania 39?

Austin was asked about another match several weeks after his fight with Owens and did not turn down the idea. He told the Brewbound podcast“We will [laughs]for me to take part in WrestleMania 38 if you’d told me hey man you’re gonna be part of WrestleMania 38 said you’re full of shit and you’re crazy and there I was in Dallas Texas headlining the main event on the first day so never say never but I can really imagine within the scope of that show that’s going to be a big show in a big city and it’s going to be another two night event so I I’m not – I’m sure I’m done with wrestling per se, but as part of WWE I can’t imagine not being there in any capacity and I don’t book myself on the show because I don’t feel myself booked on 38. That’s a Vince [McMahon] thing and I have a great relationship with him and when I get the call I’ll be there.”

The latest report on Steve Austin came from the Observer wrestling‘s Dave Meltzer last month. He explained that between Austin, John Cena and The Rock, Austin had the highest chance of actually being involved in the show. Stay tuned for more updates!
