Steam is finally adding one of the hottest games of 2020

PC players using Valve’s Steam platform can finally buy and play one of the most popular games launched in 2020. For an extended period of time, video game publisher Ubisoft has opted to only release its titles on PC through its own Ubisoft Connect launcher. And while fans have been calling for this trend to end, Ubisoft has largely chosen to stay the course with its decision for now. Fortunately, one of the most popular Ubisoft titles of recent years is coming to Steam early next month after so many requests.

In just over two weeks, Ubisoft Assassin’s Creed Valhalla stream. This version of the latest installment in the Assassin’s Creed series is expected to release on December 6, 2022 on the PC platform. although Walhalla probably wasn’t as beloved as the two episodes that preceded it (Origin and Odyssey), it still became a big hit with fans. Currently, the game has a user score of 7.8/10 Metacriticalwhich is not shabby at all.

The big reason Ubisoft probably brings Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to finally head over to Steam is because the game’s life cycle is about to end. Although Ubisoft has supported Walhalla for the past two years, the title’s final content update will be released next month. As such, it seems the publisher wants to milk as much money out of the game as possible now that it will no longer be a project in active development.
