Star Wars x Columbia 2022 jackets are inspired by the Clone Wars

One of our favorite Star Wars holiday traditions is the debut of Columbia’s newest round coats. The partnership with Disney/Lucasfilm is now entering its 8th year and the theme for 2022 is the iconic animated series The Clone Wars. Last year’s Book of Boba Fett design was fantastic, but they’re taking it a step further this time with a jacket inspired by Ahsoka Tano, a hooded parka inspired by Obi-wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, and a set of pullover hoodies. Your chance to own them is on December 2, and everything you need to know to make it happen is here. You’re going to need it, because Columbia’s Star Wars jackets are limited editions that sell out at lightning speed every year.

As with previous Star Wars jacket designs, Columbia packs each with their latest cold-weather technology, such as super-warm 650 ll insulation and Omni-Heat Infinity, a thermal-reflective pattern that improves heat retention and breathability. This is reflected in the shiny gold lining of the Ahsoka Tano jacket. Each Star Wars jacket also includes fun details, such as labels encoded in Aurebesh. A detailed overview of each piece can be found below, followed by a gallery of images.

In other Ahsoka Tano news: Ashley Eckstein will return as the voice of Ahsoka Tano in the upcoming Tales of the Jedi animated series on DIsney+. She recently spoke to ComicBook.com about all the attention her character is now getting with the animated revival and live-action of Rosario Dawson.

“I think I’m just excited for more Ahsoka, because Ahsoka is a character so universally loved and celebrated by everyone, and by all Star Wars fans,” Eckstein explained. “Everyone loves Ahsoka. She just represents all that is good. She represents all that is light and all that is hopeful. I’m just excited for more stories because she means so much to people. This is a life-changing character.” and save lives. I say that as a fact, because as the voice of Ahsoka, I am a constant presence at conventions and events and even online. Almost every day I get a personal story about how Ahsoka changed someone’s life or saved someone’s life. Very few characters do that.”
