Ric Flair apologizes to Becky Lynch

Ric Flair and Becky Lynch have not always seen eye to eye when it comes to the world of professional wrestling as the two WWE superstars have had some major back and forth in their respective careers. One of the many arguments the two had, unrelated to Lynch’s rivalry with Ric’s daughter Charlotte, was the use of the nickname “The Man”, in which both professional wrestlers had a battle of words when it came to who should hold the title. . Shockingly, it looks like Flair has apologized and given Lynch the go-ahead to be “The Man”.

Ric Flair spoke as part of his podcast, ironically dubbed “To Be The Man” when it came to his recent apology to Becky Lynch, which took place on WWE’s Raw XXX:

“I apologized to Becky Lynch. I walked up to her and said, ‘Can I talk to you for a minute?’ I just said I’m sorry this ever turned out like this.’ I went up to Seth Rollins and shook hands and I said, ‘I’m going to apologize to your wife.’ I just decided it’s all part of the documentary. Sometimes you get so caught up in things you just forget and you get so caught up in things you just forget, and you’ve been saying it so many times for so many years. the trademark “The Man,” the whole thing was decided by someone other than her and me. It’s not as much as the money involved, which the company reaps most of anyway. Then I saw her with her child, and I thought, “God, this will be Ashley one day, and Megan with Morgan now.” It is not worth it.”

Flair even took it a step further and completely relinquished the title of “The Man” while also talking about his recent partying with other all-timer wrestlers on World Wrestling Entertainment’s roster:

“I’m not ‘The Man’ anymore. ‘The Man’ is who people think it is. In fact, we’ve turned it over to social media to decide who ‘The Man’ is. Does that make sense? It could be Tom its Brady, still playing. It could be Aaron Rodgers in football. It could be LeBron, who I still think is the man in basketball. I’ll be forever in some people’s minds’ The Man’, but you gotta remember, I’m I was sitting there with ‘Taker and Shawn, and I’m 20 years older than those guys I’m there on Raw, lucky enough to celebrate that moment and that time with this guys who grew up with me. Then I introduced my daughter and called her what she is, the greatest women’s champion in WWE history, and in my opinion the best worker in the business. But that’s how I personally feel.”
