Resident Evil 4 Remake reveals beautiful SteelBook graphics

Capcoms Resident Evil 4 remake arrives in a few weeks and fans can buy a beautiful SteelBook to hold their disc. SteelBooks are usually included as a pre-order bonus, or as part of an expensive collector’s edition, but Resident Evil fans looking to get their hands on these won’t have to shell out a lot of cash to add them to their collection; the SteelBook is sold separately from the game at Best Buy locations for $9.99. It’s definitely a lot cheaper than the one that comes with the $249.99 Collector’s Edition!

Images of the SteelBook were shared by @Wario64 and can be found in the tweet below. Readers can pre-order the SteelBook from Best Buy here.

As shown in the images, the SteelBook cover features art by Leon S. Kennedy, Ashley Graham, and a group of villagers infected with the Las Plagas parasite. It’s a sharp-looking graphic, and it’s significantly different from the one included in the Collector’s Edition of the game, so hardcore Resident Evil fans might even want to grab both!

The original version of Resident Evil 4 released for the Nintendo GameCube in 2005. The game marked a huge departure from previous games in the series and quickly became a fan favorite. In the past 18 years, Resident Evil 4 has been ported to numerous platforms, often with new quality of life improvements. Considering how many times Resident Evil 4 has been re-released, it will be interesting to see how the remake of the game is received and how closely it will tie in with what Capcom has done in the past. Remaking a game that is already well regarded can be a pretty big task, but hopefully Capcom can live up to it!

Resident Evil 4 releases on March 24 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. In the meantime, readers can check out all of our previous coverage of the game here.
