Phineas and Ferb Creator is teasing the Revival’s release window

Phineas and Ferb is currently working on a major revival series with Disney+, and one of the creators behind it all is teasing fans about the release window where we can see the new series in action! While the franchise recently returned with a brand new movie to the streaming service, it’s been a while since the original animated series wrapped up its four seasons. To this day, it remains one of Disney’s biggest animated favorites ever and there’s no real mystery why the series is making a full comeback as a result.

Phineas and Ferb was announced to return for a full revival series with two new seasons (with a total of 40 new episodes) coming to Disney+ in the near future. As for when fans can expect it, series co-creator Dan Povenmire teased with fans on TikTok (as noted by @DisneyAPromos on Twitter) that the revival is currently slated for release sometime in 2024 (along with the next season of Hamster & Gretel), as it’s still very early in the development process.

How to watch the new episodes of Phineas and Ferb

As Povenmire noted in response to a fan asking when we might expect a trailer for the new episodes: “We haven’t even really started yet [writing] still, so you might have to wait.” And when asked about a possible date, Povenmire explained to another fan that they are currently processing Hamster & Gretel, but noted that it is a new season and the Phineas and Ferb revival will be available sometime next year.

“It has been the greatest pleasure of my career to see an entire generation of children and parents embrace the characters and humor of ‘Phineas and Ferb,'” said Povenmire after the initial announcement of the revival series. “I’m eagerly looking forward to diving back into the show for them and for a whole new generation.” If you wanted to watch the original run of Phineas and Ferb, you can now stream the four-season series with Disney+.
