One Punch Man now makes his way through a new arc exploring the ramifications of everything that happened during the fight against the Monster Association, and the latest chapter of the series has finally kicked off the long-awaited fight between Saitama and Tatsumaki! After the fight with Garou pushed Saitama to the edge and gave him the challenge he’s been waiting for all along, he’s now much stronger than ever before. Fans are wondering what that might mean for some of the opponents he’s yet to fight, and now it looks like we’re about to get the answer to one of those great mysteries.
As Saitama made his way to the Hero Association’s main base and was already tearing things up, he soon found himself drawn into a whole new kind of conflict. Tatsumaki and Blizzard had been dealing with a mysterious new group of vile psychics, and Saitama found himself right in the thick of it when he fought his way through a pack of monsters in the basement. With the previous cliffhanger teasing Saitama taking on the strongest psychic, now it’s here.
How does One-Punch Man start Saitama’s battle with Tatsumaki?
Chapter 176 of One Punch Man picks up shortly after Saitama grabs Tatsumaki’s hand as she fires her psychic abilities at full blast. He refuses to let go, and while Tatsumaki hits him with a much stronger blast, Saitama doesn’t fly at all. He even compares it to one of Fubuki’s psychic blasts and this only makes Tatsumaki angrier. No matter how strong her attacks get (and how much damage they do to the environment), Saitama won’t budge.
In fact, he is even able to physically stop her attack and then stop her from dealing damage to the rest of the base. Saitama then grabs her completely and then jumps right out of the base with her as he says they have to take the fight outside now. Now it’s time for the two to take their battle seriously, and now it won’t be long before we see Saitama take on Tatsumaki’s full power (and vice versa).
