One Piece reveals Dr. Vegapunk’s Devil Fruit Power

A piece finally got the real Dr. Vegapunk fully brought into the series after several teases from his clones in the previous chapter, and the latest chapter of the long-running action series has revealed the Devil Fruit power that has allowed him to split his mind in so many ways! The first major arc of the series’ final saga at large has Luffy and the Straw Hats after the oft-mentioned Dr. brought to Vegapunk’s island lab as the franchise has begun to chronicle many of the series’ biggest mysteries overall. But it took a while to see the scientist himself.

The final set of chapters was devoted to introducing the six satellites where Dr. Vegapunk had transferred his mind to experiment properly on his island, but at the same time, fans were watching the real Vegapunk and realizing that he was very different from the clones he had created. With a huge head that kept absorbing as much knowledge as he wanted, it turns out that this is the result of his Devil Fruit, the Brain-Brain Fruit.

What is Dr. Vegapunk’s Devil Fruit Power?

Chapter 1067 of A piece begins shortly after the real Dr. Vegapunk has introduced himself to Luffy, Jewelry Bonney, Jimbei and Chopper, and Bonney asks him about the fact that he no longer has the huge head he used to have. Compared to the look he wore before in the Ohara flashback, his now apple-inspired head seemed to be missing a huge chunk. Here Vegapunk explains that he cut it because it was starting to get to the height of a giant.

It is a result of the Brain-Brain Fruit, which turned him into a Brain-Man. He can store all kinds of knowledge and information indefinitely, but his brain physically grows as he learns more. His brain has grown so big at this point that he’s placed it in the center of the island as a record bank of sorts that gains more and more knowledge as his clones work more across the island. It’s a wild skill to be sure, but certainly not the most surprising we’ve seen.
