New Xbox Series X controller leaked ahead of release next week

A new Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S controller has leaked ahead of its release next week. In other words, it should be officially revealed soon, assuming this information is correct. However, before it is officially revealed, it has been leaked. And if you’re in the market for a purple controller. you are lucky. According to the leak, Microsoft will release the new “Stellar Shift” Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S controller on February 14.

The leak comes from multiple regional versions of Amazon. According to Amazon Spain, the controller will be released on February 14. According to Amazon Italy, it will be released on February 17. It’s unclear why there’s a discrepancy in data, but both have leaked the same images of the controller, revealing the purple design.

It is clear that the controller is real. That said, the dates should be taken with a grain of salt, although the information is highly unlikely to be inaccurate. Multiple Amazon retailers wouldn’t have any listings for the controller, complete with images, if it wasn’t released around then. When exactly in mid-February remains to be seen, but it’s safe to expect it to happen.

The controller should be officially unveiled soon, as it’s already February 6th. And even if it wasn’t revealed any time soon – maybe it would be a stealth release – the leak could very well change those plans and said speed up plans.

At the time of publication, Microsoft has not responded to this leak in any capacity. We don’t expect this to change for several reasons. Whichever comes first, a comment or an official reveal, we’ll let you know. Until then, like any leak, take this all with a little bit of doubt and a little bit of hesitation.
