New Indiana Jones 5 graphics tease villains and a sprawling adventure

Indiana Jones fans will finally be treated to a fifth film next year, and everyone is eager to see Harrison Ford back in the role for the first time since 2008. Lucasfilm has the trailer for it Indiana Jones5 but some fans already got a taste of D23 Expo in September. The trailer may not be out yet, but this week has brought some exciting new photos, including the first look at Solo and Flea bag star Phoebe Waller-Bridge in her new role as well Villain One and Hannibal star Mads Mikkelsen in his new role. Today, Empire (through Collider) shared even more new photos teasing some exciting adventures for Indiana.

Check out some of the new images below, which feature Ford in action as Indiana Jones, Waller-Bridge as Helena, Boyd Holbrook as Klaber, and what appears to be Indiana facing a mysterious foe:

Originally, Steven Spielberg was set to return to direct the fifth installment, but Logan director James Mangold eventually took over the project

“James Mangold did a fantastic job with Indy,” said Lucasfilm’s Kathleen Kennedy ComicBook. com during the Star Wars celebration. “And him and Harrison [Ford] have an incredible relationship and I think the fans will just love what he has created. It’s fantastic.”

“I’m thrilled to embark on a new adventure, working with a dream team of all-time great filmmakers,” Mangold said in a statement when the film was first announced. “Steven, Harrison, Kathy, Frank and John are all artistic heroes of mine. When you add Phoebe, a dazzling actor, a brilliant creative voice and the chemistry she will no doubt bring to our set, I can’t help but feel as lucky as Indiana Jones himself.”

Newcomers to the franchise include Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Solo: A Star Wars Story), Mads Mikkelsen (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Boyd Holbrook (Logan), Thomas Kretschmann (King Kong), Shaunette Renee Wilson (The inhabitant), and Antonio Banderas (Pain and Glory). While fans haven’t seen much of the movie yet, there are some exciting set shots from the cast.
