Naruto reveals a surprising truth about Delta’s secret identity

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations has entered a new era of the series’ latest arc, and the series’ latest chapter has revealed Delta’s surprising secret identity! Amado is now a full member of Hidden Leaf Village, and after the battle with Code things now get a bit messier as both Eida and Daemon have come to the village as well. As Naruto and Shikamaru investigate Amado for more information in order to fully accept him into their village, the scientist begins to reveal more secrets about how he made the Kara androids as strong as they are.

The latest chapter of the series continues with Eida and Daemon’s first real introduction to the Hidden Leaf Village, and Amado no longer plays as coy as before about all the secrets he still has at his disposal. Amado discusses more about why he worked with Isshiki Otsutsuki in the first place and reveals what he really wants to somehow resurrect his dead daughter. His first attempts actually formed the model that eventually became the android Delta.

What is Delta’s secret identity?

Chapter 75 of Boruto: Naruto next generations sees Amado introduce a powerful new member of the Otsutsuki, revealing that their power of resurrection is really what he’s been looking for all along. He reveals that he wants to resurrect his daughter, Akebi, as she had died 12 years ago. Amado succumbs to a mysterious illness for which there was no cure and ends up spending his time trying to clone her completely to save her after the many failed attempts of the many doctors.

He was eventually able to form a clone that had Akebi’s voice, appearance, and memories, but she was a completely different person. This turned out to be Delta, and every time he tried to recreate his daughter, he failed. This propelled him to his real plan of hopefully using Karma to do it, but the big surprise was that his daughter ended up being the basis for the same Delta we see today.
