My Hero Academia officially kicked off the anime’s Final Act with the latest installment, and things got blown wide open when Izuku Midoriya and All Might’s biggest secret was revealed! Season 6 of the series spent the first part of the year exploring how the heroes and villains are coping with everything that happened during the Paranormal Liberation Front War arc. But this was just the beginning as the anime is about to go through even bigger changes as the series paves the way for its proper endgame.

With the latest installment of the series launching the final arc of the season, the Black Hero arc, Deku had met with the previous users within One For All’s power. Thanks to how much it has grown from his fight against Tomura Shigaraki, and how much more his body has grown to adapt to it, Deku was able to come to an agreement on how to proceed with his power. But on the outside, his One For All secret was revealed to the others.

Now that the secret of One For All has been revealed, what’s next?

After the cliffhanger teasing Hawks and Best Jeanist would approach All Might about One For All and his ties to Deku, episode 131 of My Hero Academia sees All Might realize he can’t keep this a secret for much longer. While he previously wanted to prevent Deku from telling anyone as it would endanger him and others around him, things have changed dramatically after that huge battle. It’s not the same world anymore, which is why All Might tells Hawks and Best Jeanist (who then tell Endeavor) about the secret.

But there is a much bigger confession in Deku’s case. At the end of the episode, Deku is revealed to have left UA Academy to fight single-handedly and capture as many of the released prisoners as possible. But while doing so, he writes each of his former classmates a personalized letter telling them all about the shared One For All secret he had for All Might and his decision to move on without him.

This leads to the final act of the series, so now we’ll see what My Hero Academia’s anime looks like now so many others know about One For All and how big of a target Deku really is.
