My Hero Academia gears up for the final episodes of the season, and the sixth season has crowned Izuku Midoriya as MVP for the final episode as he makes some pretty big picks! In the first half of the sixth season, the heroes and villains suffered huge losses on both sides, but the heroes spent the first half of the second part of the season recovering everything that happened during the battle. The heroes soon run out of options, and Deku will have to take much of the matter into his own hands to move forward.
My Hero Academia made some big leaps forward to help set up the Black Hero arc of the series that comes in the final episodes of Season 6, and this started when Deku had a meeting with all the other previous users within One For All. As he prepared to face Tomura Shigaraki and All For One in their final battle, he also realized that the burden of this power would be far greater than he may have been ready for. But his refusal to back out made him Episode 131 MVP:

Why is Deku My Hero Academia’s latest MVP?
Episode 131 of My Hero Academia sees Deku officially meet the remnants of the past within One For All, learning how much power has grown rapidly since his battle with Shigaraki. But as they give him more information about what comes next, Deku learns that he might just have to kill the bad guy when it comes down to it. But Deku decides to go for another option, and after seeing young Shigaraki cry in All For One, all he wants to do is save his greatest enemy.
It’s Deku’s refusal to back down, even in front of all those who used One For All before him, that makes him the young hero he is. He even transforms into a child version of himself when he announces this, showing that no matter what happens from now on, Deku is essentially doing this to save his deadliest foe. Now we just have to wait and see how it turns out from now on.
