Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 brings back yet another beloved game mode. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is already one of the most valuable Call of Duty games out there. While there is much debate about the actual quality of the entire game, there is no denying that there is a ton of content. There’s a big blockbuster campaign, War zone 2, DMZ, Spec Ops and a multiplayer mode with tons of modes and maps to play on. Season 2 aims to expand the game with a wealth of new content, including a new one War zone 2 map, new gameplay changes, and the return of fan favorite modes like Infected.

However, Infected isn’t the only casual mode returning in Season 2. Season 2 has confirmed the return of Gun Game, a very popular mode that was introduced in Call of Duty Black Ops through bets. Wager Matches allowed players to wager in-game currency that could be used to purchase in-game cosmetics and other items, as well as wager on casual matches of party-like game types. Gun Game sees everyone start with the same gun and every time they kill someone they get a new and often better gun. The first to spin through all the weapons wins, but if they get stabbed at any point they will be knocked back to their previous weapon. It’s quite a fun and casual mode that has a touch of competitiveness in it and it will indeed return Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 on February 15 alongside the release of Season 2.

There are a ton of other modes that fans hope to see in Call of Duty in the future. People really want Gunfight to return after it was introduced in 2019 Modern warfare. The mode is a 2v2 game type on a fairly small map where each player has one life per round. It’s fast and it’s more skill dependent than some of the other modes in the game.
