Marvel is set to explore Hulk’s origin story through a found footage documentary

The Incredible Hulk’s origin story is revealed in a new terrifying way. It will be released in May Hulk annually #1 by writer David Pepose (Wild Avengers) and artist Caio Majado (Edge of Spider-Verse). The oversized issue introduces “The Viridian Project,” a terrifying story stitched together from found footage. Set in the same town where the Hulk was born, the story is about a group of young filmmakers searching for the truth behind the origins of the green goliath. Unfortunately, they get a first look at the Jade Giant’s deadly fury.

Hulk annually #1 is billed as a “terrifying story” that promises to keep readers on the edge of their seats with suspense, as well as thought-provoking insights into Hulk’s effect on the world around him. As an added bonus, readers of Hulk annually #1 Get an exclusive preview of Hulk’s next era of comics, featuring a new creative team tackling Hulk’s ongoing series. More details and a full announcement are expected within weeks. Donny Cates and Ryan Ottley have been relaunched Hulk in 2021, with Cates leaving the series in 2022. Ottley remained on the series as a writer/artist to bring their storylines to a fitting conclusion.
