Lupine Zero reveals voice cast and new photos

Lupine Zero will introduce a cool new take on the anime with a look inside Lupine the Third’It’s over and the anime has revealed a new take on what to expect from this special project with new stills and the reveal of the first two main voice cast additions! Lupine the third is one of the longest-running anime and manga franchises still active, and while the creator of the original series, Monkey Punch, may no longer exist, the anime has taken on a whole new kind of life thanks to the success of its various releases.

Lupine Zero is a special new project set in the 1960s looking back Lupine III’s past as a kid who will adapt some stories from the original manga, and include some new material for the anime version of it. To show more of what fans can expect from this mysterious new prequel hitting our screens later this winter, the official Twitter account behind the series has released some new character designs and stills, along with confirmation of the two main actors! What comes in Lupine Zero?

Lupine Zero will be six episodes long and will start on December 16 in Japan. The series will be streamed exclusively with HIDIVE outside Japan when it premieres and will be directed by Daisuke Sako for Telecom Animation Film. Ichiro Okouchi will handle the scripts for the series, Asami Taguchi will design the characters, Yoshihide Otomo will compose the music, and Seiichi Shirato will be credited with helping research the setting.

So far, the cast for the series leads the main duo of Tasuku Hatanaka as Lupine and Shunsuke Takeuchi as Jigen. It’s yet to be revealed whether or not fans can expect to see younger versions of the franchise’s other favorite players, but with the new prequel project hitting the screens just weeks from the time of writing, that won’t happen. it’ll be a long time before we get to see even more of what this new Lupine the Third entry has to offer.
