Further details about the event are unclear at the time of writing, but Reeves got his temporary restraining order against Dixon, who reportedly has a warrant against him in another state for “alleged burglary with criminal intent, possession of burglary tools, and vandalism.” Dixon can’t be within 100 yards of Reeves or Grant.
Reeves has a big year ahead of him in cinemas, reprising his John Wick role John Wick: Chapter 4. However, the action franchise is also expanding with the spin-off movie ballerina starring Ana de Armas. The actor will also return as Wick for the spin-off, something that has surprised fans following the franchise.
“It’s a cool story. Len Wiseman has a vision, but also lovingly embraces the world of John Wick. Ian McShane stars in it as Winston,” Reeves said in the latest cover story for Total movie. He confirmed that his role is largely a cameo and said he only worked with de Armas “briefly”. “So I felt there was a cool transfer of stewardship, and it was nice to put the suit back on, however briefly,” the actor continued. “There’s a reason for that [John] to be inside ballerina; it’s very organic. And the collaboration with Ana was great. She really likes action, and she’s really good at it.”
Ballerina is set between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and John Wick: Chapter 4. The fourth film in the series will premiere on March 24, 2023.
