The singer and actress Jessica Simpson revealed that he had a brief relationship with a “major movie star”, but soon learned that he was married. She has chronicled the romance in a new book for the Amazon Original Stories, movie star.

In the account, she said the story is so personal that she never thought she would ever actually tell it.

“The whole period was very unreal. There were times when I had a lot of fun, don’t get me wrong! I like to connect deeply with people and I didn’t know who was trustworthy and who wasn’t,” she said in an interview.

The two met in a after of the 2001 VMA hosted by singer Jennifer Lopez. Jessica said the unnamed man “looked her up and down.” At the time, she had just taken a break from her relationship with Nick Lachey.

“He was undressing me with his eyes,” she told the site. Page 6.

Simpson even managed to get the mysterious handsome man’s phone number, but eventually reconciled with Lachey and never contacted him again.

However, the two got divorced in 2006 and the singer saw an opportunity to make that phone call she hadn’t made yet.

She revealed that the two kissed at the Beverly Hills Hotel and still shot:

“I felt a wave of heat travel down my body to the tips of my toes to my fingernails.”

Jessica Simpson Was Treated Like ‘The Other One’

The so-called mystery man told her at the time that his relationship with his girlfriend was “completely over”. For this reason, the two started going out together, frequent nightclubs, were always at a mutual friend’s house, and have even been seen together on the movie set.

But she eventually saw pictures of the “hook” with her own girlfriend on a red carpet and found out that it was all a farce and she was playing the part of the “other” without knowing it.

“Yes, there was something sexy and seductive about it all, but there was also something humble about it,” she noted.

“I felt like a call girl. I didn’t care if he was my teenage fantasy come to life, that wasn’t a choice that the same girl, my younger self, would be proud of.”

Currently, the artist is married again, to Eric Johnson. The couple has three children, Maxwell (10), Ace (9) and Birdie (3).

“I learned that self-love is one of the keys to truly loving someone else and that true love will never make you doubt yourself or what is real,” Jessica added.
