A new Humble Bundle offers hundreds of dollars scout rulebooks at a remarkably discounted price. Earlier this week, Pathfinder launched a new “So You Wanna Try scout” Humble Bundle, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Code for America charity. The bundle offers donors the Pathfinder Second Edition Core Rulebook along with various other rules for expansions, adventures and more. scout and numerous other tabletop role-playing games have gained more interest due to recent controversies involving Wizards of the Coast, the publisher of Dungeons and Dragons. After Wizards of the Coast announced planned changes to the Open Gaming license, which provides a legal framework for publishing third-party material compatible with Dungeons and Dragons, many fans pledged to support other systems instead, including scout And Call from Cthulhu. Although Wizards ultimately backed down on their plans and apologized, interest in scout and other games remains high.
In addition to the Pathfinder Core Rulebook And Bestiary books, the base layer of the Humble Bundle also includes a digital version of the Beginner Box, which provides a streamlined guide to building characters in the scout system along with an introductory adventure. Higher levels of the Humble Bundle contain the Bestiary 2, the Gamemastery Guide, And Secrets of magic, which includes several additional classes and a bunch of new spells. The $25 level also includes horror vaults, a full-length mega-dungeon being one of them Pathfinder 2Es most popular adventures ever.
Nearly 25,000 people have purchased the Humble Bundle to date, and the bundle will remain open until February 22.
