Tom Hanks has a 40-year career as an actor and has participated in nearly 80 films, and his most recent work is the worst neighbor (A man named Otto). But is Hanks considering giving up acting?
According to an interview of Variety, Hanks is still not thinking about retirement. And for him there are many reasons to keep working. He explained:
“No, I have no desire [de me aposentar]. I don’t work to work. I am in a very fortunate position. must be fantastic [ficar descansando]. Rita and I talk about it all the time, which means there are only two reasons to go to work: whether it’s going well or whether it’s going to be fun. And if it’s neither, I’ll stay home anyway. I don’t have to do anything”.
However, Otto’s situation the worst neighbor it’s not the same as Hanks. The feature film is a remake of the Swedish film A man named Ove (A man named Ove), 2015. The story begins when Otto leaves the company because he is no longer valued.

Tom Hanks addresses nepotism in Hollywood
the worst neighbor has the presence of Truman Hanks, the son of Tom Hanks, who plays the young version of Otto. While Rita WilsonHanks’ wife, is the film’s producer and wrote the song Until you get homethat can compete for oscar.
In an interview with The Sun, Hanks explained that the acting business is no different than running a family business when it comes to favoritism.
“Look, this is a family business. That’s what we’ve been doing for ages. All our children grew up here. If we were a plumbing company or if we ran the flower shop down the street, the whole family would spend time on this at some point, if only to stock up at the end of the year.”
Truman, 27, was invited by the director Mark Foster to be part of the movie. While he is open to future roles, he wants to pursue a career as a cinematographer.
“I’m getting back into the camera world, but we’ll see. I’m not ruling anything out. When a cool director I really respect asks me out for coffee, I don’t say no.”
The worst neighbor in the world can be seen in cinemas from January 26.
