Looks like Netflix is at it again. This week, reports confirmed the worst news, as Inside Job has been shut down. The hit animated series was supposed to move into season two after the finale, but sadly, that’s no longer the case. Series creator Shion Takeuchi confirmed that the comedy has been canceled and the news has sparked a viral petition to renew the cult favorite.
As you can see online, hashtags are popping up all over the place asking for Inside Job season two. From Reddit to Tumblr and Twitter, the outcry is clear: fans want more. Inside Job season one ended on a great cliffhanger, and netizens want to see Reagan Ridley continue at Cognito Inc.

Of course, no one signed up to renew, but fans won’t be swayed by that. After all, Netflix only confirmed the cancellation yesterday. The streaming service originally ordered a season two, but changed its mind about renewing. Now all eyes are on Adult Swim and Fox as the pleas for season two of Inside Job mount. So if we’re lucky, maybe Reagan and Brett will get the happy ending every fan wants.
