The Nacelle Company Icons unearthed is about to turn his attention to the Marvel Universe. ComicBook.com can exclusively reveal that VICE TV has ordered a new season of the documentary anthology series. Titled Icons unearthed: Marvel, the series, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at some of entertainment’s biggest franchises, delves into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The new series will premiere on VICE TV on March 7. With Brian Volk-Weiss in the director’s chair, Icons unearthed: Marvel features exclusive interviews with Hollywood and comic book talent including Clark Gregg, Todd McFarlane, J. Michael Straczynski, Charlie Wen, Margaret Loesch, Lou Ferrigno, Fred Raskin, Roger Corman, Shepherd Frankel, Bob Layton, Fernando Serzedelo, Val Mayerik, Oley Sassone, Maya Shimoguchi and more.
“While we were excited about the first three chapters of the Icons unearthed series, it’s the Marvel season we’ve circled on the calendar from the beginning,” said Peter Gaffney, VICE TV SVP of Content Strategy, in a statement. “Growing up as a Marvel kid, I still have boxes of with comics in my attic, so it’s very exciting for me personally to have the world premiere of this epic story on our network.”

We’re excited to pull back the curtain and explore how the MCU became the juggernaut it is today. Each season of Icons Unearthed focuses on a different topic. Previous seasons covered Star Wars, The Simpsonsand Fast and Furious.
Volk-Weiss, Cisco Henson, Alyssa Michek and Ben Frost serve as executive producers Icons unearthed: Marvel. Pete Gaffney, Falguni Lakhani-Adams and Andrea Brakke oversee the series for Vice TV.
