HBO has finally released all episodes of their first Game of Thrones spinoff, House of the Dragon, and it was definitely a big hit for the network. The series focuses on the time 200 years before the events of Game of Thronesshowing us the history of House Targaryen. House of the Dragon season one leads us into the great war between two factions of the Targaryen dynasty who both claim the right to the Iron Throne. House of the Dragon has yet to start filming, but it looks like it will start filming pretty soon. According to Production list, House of the Dragon season two begins filming on March 6.
Earlier, Game of Thrones creator George RR Martin talked about the upcoming Jon Snow spin-off in a new post on his blog. In the post, he revealed that he’s been working with Harington on the series, as well as two other mystery writers/showrunners. Martin wrote in the blog post that he couldn’t reveal who will be writing the series, but Harington’s team is amazing.
“Yes, it was Kit Harrington who gave us the idea,” said the Game of Thrones creator revealed. “I can’t tell you the names of the writers/showrunners since those haven’t been released for release yet, but Kit brought them in as well, his own team, and they’re great.”
In the last season of Game of Thrones, Jon Snow learned of his true identity as Aegon Targaryan, the true heir to the Iron Throne. After killing his aunt/girlfriend, Daenarys, to keep her from power, Jon was forced to choose a life of exile in the Night’s Watch. Instead of staying with the Night’s Watch, Jon went north of the Wall to live with the Wildlings and his terrifying wolf, Ghost. The series would focus on what happened after these events.
HBO has developed a number of series set in the Game of Thrones universe inclusive House of the Dragon. Also among the projects reportedly in development is one Stories of Dunk and Egg prequel series. So it seems that Warner Bros. and HBO in the Game of Thrones company for a long time.
“We developed a lot of ideas, we were still developing a lot of ideas, and I think we’re very excited about the one that airs later this summer,” Kara Buckley, vice president of original programming, said of Game earlier this year. or Thrones. month. “But we don’t feel the need to do another one unless it feels really creatively exciting to us.
