If you can’t wait much longer to play Hogwarts legacyis there a way to play it a little early. Hogwarts legacy is one of the most anticipated games of 2023 and as long as it can live up to or come close to its own hype, it’s likely to be one of the biggest games of the year. The Harry Potter franchise is huge and fans wanted a game where they could live out a student’s fantasy at Hogwarts and that fantasy is finally becoming possible. The jury is still out on whether the game will be any good or not, but previews of Hogwarts legacy have been promising.
Hogwarts legacy takes place about 100 years prior to the events of the Harry Potter story and therefore has nothing to do with his adventures. While there are some relatives of characters from that era of the Wizarding World, it’s an all-original story about a custom character that players can create at the start of the game. From there, they get to make all kinds of choices about the wizard or witch they become and enjoy a whole year at Hogwarts.
Hogwarts Legacy play early
That said, the hype is at an all-time high and fans are dying to play the game. Fortunately, that is already possible on Tuesday 7 February. Warner Bros. Games offers a Deluxe Edition of Hogwarts legacy giving fans access to the game 72 hours before regular release. The Deluxe Edition costs $79.99 and includes a ton of other in-game goodies. This version will only give early access to those on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC, as the last-gen version has been delayed until April. The early access for Hogwarts legacy begins February 7 at midnight in your region (not midnight eastern time, as is customary for these releases) on Xbox Series X|S and PS5. For PC, early access begins February 7 at 1PM ET.
When will Hogwarts Legacy be released?
The standard edition of Hogwarts legacy releases on February 10 at midnight local time for Xbox Series X|S and PS5. Again, it’s local to your area, so don’t expect the usual nationwide midnight-eastern time release. PC players will again have to wait until 1pm ET on February 10th.
