Giancarlo Esposito reveals why Stan Edgar isn’t afraid of Homelander

Amazon Prime Video has released the third season of their hit series The boys last summer, and it was arguably one of the best seasons they’ve ever released. The boys Season 3 featured the introduction of Soldier Boy, who was played by Jensen Ackles (Supernatural, Big sky) and he was arguably one of the highlights of the season. Given the ability to drain powers from superheroes, Soldier Boy teamed up with Butcher (Karl Urban) and Hughie (Jack Quaid) to kill Homelander. While they failed, they certainly showed they weren’t afraid of the Vought hero, but they weren’t the only ones who showed they weren’t afraid of him. Stan Edgar (Giancarlo Esposito) has shown no fear in front of Homelander and has bossed him around countless times. Now Esposito reveals why Stan Edgar isn’t afraid The boysopponent.

“Stan Edgar is a corporate guy. And what makes a good villain is he works for somebody else. You know? I mean, we think what makes a good villain is he wants to take over the world,” Esposito said in a new video. by GK. “And I have a few in my Star Wars Moff Gideon life. But when you have a guy who’s a corporate guy, it’s scary. And so Stan Edgar scared me a little bit because he has no fear. He has no fear of Homelander.”

“You know, they say that daughters need their father’s validation and sons need to be mothered. And so what did we miss in our lives? What did we miss growing up in that relationship that required validation? , realizes Stan Edgar feels that Homelander is just a big boy and he never got the validation that he needed from his father And so it gets very, very tricky he understands that So he needs to be validated by another guy who says “Yeah, you’re mighty and good and all. In return, Stan also feels like he’s holding onto his power. He’s able to control this loose cannon where no one else can.” The Boys star added.

The boys was officially renewed for a fourth season weeks before the season finale aired. With the series ending on such a high note, fans are sure to be excited to see what happens next. Karl Urban, who plays Butcher on the series, recently revealed when filming for the series’ fourth season will begin, so we may get some new information sooner rather than later.
