Get Out Star Reviews Jordan Peele’s Nope

M3GAN hits theaters this weekend and is already a hit with moviegoers. Currently, the new Blumhouse horror movie is in the works Rotten tomatoes with a critic score of 94% after 156 reviews and an audience score of 79% after more than 500 reviews. In the new movie, M3GAN is a lifelike puppet programmed by a roboticist named Gemma who is played by Allison Williams. Of course, this isn’t Williams’ first time starring in a hit horror movie. She also co-starred with Daniel Kaluuya in Jordan Peele’s Get outwhich won the 2018 Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. Peele had another successful cinema hit last year, noand Williams recently spoke about seeing it.

“I actually just texted Jordan yesterday,” Williams said The Hollywood Reporter. “Gosh, there are so many different parts I could talk about, but yesterday I was thinking a lot about the cameraman [Michael Wincott] in the film and the urge to capture something impossible. It’s the drive to take the grittiest, violent, dangerous picture imaginable, and as we just discussed in terms of prioritizing the reality of our business, it was just such a great call to us company to think that the more hardcore something is. , the more valuable it is. And so I’ve just been thinking about that a lot, not that I’m entering that territory at all, but I’ve just been thinking about that archetype of the visual explorer and someone willing to die for the picture.

Williams continued: “Obviously when we’re doing something collaborative and artistic, no one needs to get hurt doing it, and absolutely no one should. So berating us for thinking hardcore is admirable is a really interesting choice in the movie but there’s so much more there’s the idea of being seen by others and what we would look like from above and from the outside if we turn trauma into spectacle so I honestly think about it quite a lot and I can’t wait to see what Jordan is dreaming about next.”

Will no To be nominated for an Oscar?

Oscar nominations will be announced on Tuesday, January 24, and many are wondering if Peele will have the same success as with Get out. There’s a chance Peele could be nominated again in the Best Original Screenplay category, and the film also made the shortlist for both Best Original Score and Best Visual Effects. There’s also been some buzz around Keke Palmer’s performance.
