Four Knights of the Apocalypse trailer released

The Seven Deadly Sins is making its way back to the small screen, and we just got our first look at its comeback. After all, the team at Netflix plans to release the sequel of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse anime soon. The show’s first teaser trailer has just been released after much fan speculation, and Percival takes center stage with an impressive debut.

As you can see above, the clip kicks off with our new hero, and Percival looks pretty solid in this short clip. The knight’s green hair is hard to miss, and of course his character design is just like the one in The Seven Deadly Sins main series. Creator Nakaba Suzuki has a recognizable aesthetic, and the anime translates that art with ease.

The trailer showcases Percival’s power, and it almost seems like we’re looking at Meliodas’ second coming. We see everything from a rogue dragon to ghostly spectrals, so Four Knights of the Apocalypse has plenty for fans to explore. And of course, this series is still going on, since Suzuki’s manga already has ten volumes to his credit.

So far, fans don’t know much about when Netflix will drop this new anime, but we do know that Four Knights of the Apocalypse is going live this year. A new studio is overseeing the project to boot, so Studio Deen is loosening its grip on the TV series. Telecom Animation Film is leading the work on the series, so fans are hoping that this sequel will solve Meliodas’ animation curse. So for now, we’re keeping our fingers crossed that Four Knights of the Apocalypse delivers.
