Forza Motorsport gameplay reveals absurd amount of drivable cars

Forza Motorsport has a big, new gameplay video today that reveals that there are an absurd number of cars in the game. Forza Motorsport is one of the leading racing franchises out there. While arcade racers like Need for Speed and Burnout were the big franchises in the early 2000s, in the 2010s players started leaning more towards realistic simulators like Gran Turismo and Forza. Forza was also able to find the best of both worlds with the ultra-realistic Gran Turismo competitor in the Motorsport series, but more unrealistic, but still very engaging gags in beautiful locations with the Horizon series. The Horizon series has been the dominant franchise for a while, but Motorsport will soon make its long-awaited return.

Later this year, Forza Motorsport makes a comeback with a new entry that looks to be the most detailed game in the series yet. The new gameplay video reveals there will be over 500 cars at launch, with over 100 of these cars Motorsport and the most modern race cars ever to feature in the roster. Players will also have access to over 800 unique upgrades for the cars and there will be a huge evolution in the physics engine, allowing for more exciting and violent driving never before possible in the series. It’s quite a leap forward for the series and something that clearly wasn’t possible on Xbox One, which makes sense why this game is only for PC and Xbox Series X|S. There are a lot of details here and it looks like racing fans will get a kick out of it.

From now, Forza Motorsport does not have a release date, but it looks like it will probably come in the second half of the year. Xbox has laid out very clearly what the next few months of game releases look like, but has not stated a date Forza Motorsport, which makes it seem like we have to wait a little longer. Either way, it looks like the wait will be worth it.
