Marvel Studios is preparing to launch their Phase Five series of projects that will begin Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and all eyes are on the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Quantumania will feature Nathaniel Richards aka Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors). Kang becomes the main villain of the Multiverse Saga, but he is also a descendant of Reed Richards / Mr. Fantastic. Recently we got a variant of Mr. Fantastic to see during the events of Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madnessplayed by John Krasinski (Jack Ryan, A quiet place). Krasinski recently revealed that he has not been approached by Marvel about returning as the character, and actors like Penn Badgley (You Gossip Girl), Diego Luna (Andor, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and Adam Driver (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Marriage story) are reportedly set to play a role in the arrival of the MCU Fantastic four Restart. One artist seems to think Driver is the perfect choice for the character, and he’s even designed a new piece of fan art showing what he could look like.
An artist on Instagram known as @Clements.Ink has created a design that shows what the Star Wars star could look like as Mr. Fantastic. In the fan art, Driver is given a completely different costume than we’ve seen before, outfitted with a lab coat. Rumor has it that there are countless actors who have portrayed Mr. Fantastic in The Fantastic Four, but no one has been confirmed so far. You can check out the fan art below!
That will be the next Marvel Studios movie to come out Ant Man and the Wasp: Quatumania. Empire Magazine recently had a chat with director Peyton Reed about how the stakes have risen Quantumania. “People were like, oh, these are nice little palate cleansers after a giant Avengers movie,” Reed told the outlet. “For this third, I said, ‘I don’t want to be the palate cleanser anymore. I want to be the big one Avengers movie.'”
“I grew up a true Marvel comics nerd, and there are a handful of adversaries in the Marvel comics universe who know everything,” Reed continued. “Loki, of course. Doctor Doom from the Fantastic Four. And Kang the Conqueror. Talking to Kevin Feige and Marvel, it was like I want to pit Ant-Man and Wasp against a really formidable villain in this movie, and so we’re doing Kang the Conqueror.”
“In the comics, Kang has lordship over time, he’s a time traveler. His situation is a bit different in this movie, which I won’t spoil for you, but he’s someone who, [while] we live very linear lives, from childhood to death, Kang doesn’t exist that way,” the director grinned.” against the mightiest force in the multiverse.”
The studio describes the film as follows: “In the film, which officially kicks off Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, superhero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant. Man and the Wasp Along with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family explores the Quantum Realm, encounters strange new creatures and embarks on an adventure that will take them beyond the frontiers of what they thought possible. Jonathan Majors joins the adventure as Kang.”
