Dragon Ball Super will return soon with new chapters

Dragon Ball Super has been in the middle of a hiatus for the past few months as the manga prepares for its next major arc, and now the wait will soon be over as the series has officially set a return date for the next batch of chapters! The Granolah the Survivor arc came to an end earlier this summer with some big promises for the future of the series, and one thing fans noticed earlier this year was the tease that the Granolah arc wouldn’t just end in 2022 , but we would also see the next new arc kick this year.

The interruption that lasted so long began to add some doubt to this idea, but now it can all go to bed! The official website forr Dragon Ball Super’s manga has officially announced that the series will return from a hiatus with chapter 88 of the series on December 21 in Japan (and likely December 20 for the rest of the world). This will kick off the series’ next major arc.

Chapter 87 of Dragon Ball Super officially ended the Granolah the Survivor arc with the reveal that Frieza has probably become the strongest warrior in the universe.
