Dijak fell short to Wes Lee in the opening game NXT: Day of Revenge on Saturday night in Charlotte. He also went somewhat viral after the camera clearly captured a broken middle finger on his left hand midway through the match. The big man then shared a photo of himself backstage turning off the camera with the obviously broken finger, then posted an x-ray of his hand on Sunday.
After initially jumping to the main roster in 2020 as a member of the infamous Retribution faction, Dijak finally dropped his T-BAR persona and returned to NXT in late October. He had since targeted Wes Lee’s NXT North American Championship, but eventually lost to Lee due to interference from Tony D’Angleo and Stacks.
