It looks like Blizzard Entertainment will soon announce the open beta dates for it Diablo 4 ahead of its launch later this year. Over the past few months, Blizzard has started sharing a ton of new information about Diablo 4, especially since the game is coming out in about five months. Despite this, a lingering demand that many fans have had comes with the open beta and its dates. And while Blizzard hasn’t yet said specifically when the Diablo 4 beta will take place, we now have an idea where the reveal should take place.
In a recent interaction on Twitter, Blizzard SVP Rod Fergusson was asked when the Diablo 4 open beta will take place. While Fergusson did not provide further details on the beta’s release window, he hinted that such an announcement will happen “soon”. He then teased Blizzard’s involvement at a gaming event later in February where the company would like to share this information with fans.

For those who don’t know yet, Blizzard will join later this month IGN’s 2023 Fan Fest event. This showcase will take place on February 17 and 18 and will feature several looks at upcoming games such as Hogwarts legacy, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Street Fighter 6and many others. Diablo 4 is one of the games that will appear at IGN Fan Fest, and based on this tweet from Fergusson in question, it looks like this will be where the open beta dates will be announced. If you didn’t already have the release date Diablo 4 circled on your calendar, the game will launch later this year, on June 2nd. When it arrives, it will be available for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC platforms.
