Denny’s unveils Black Friday shirt with daily free meal sewn into sleeve

With Thanksgiving less than a week away, that also means it’s time for Black Friday deals and this year Denny’s has a truly unique deal. The restaurant chain is offering a special Every Day Value t-shirt that gives the wearer free breakfast for a year. Yes, you read that right. Denny’s Black Friday offer is a breakfast t-shirt that really lets you eat breakfast.

Available from Black Friday — that’s Nov. 25 at noon ET — the Everyday Value Tee will go on sale for $5.99, the price of Denny’s “Everyday Value Slam” meal. A special, unique QR code is sewn onto the sleeve of the shirt that the customer can redeem literally every day for a free “Everyday Value Slam”. If someone “exchanges” their shirt every day for a year, this brings the value to $2186.

The Everyday Value Slam is part of the Denny’s All-Day Diner Deals value menu and is one of the most loved menu items. The meal consists of two eggs and two bacon strips or sausages, plus a choice of two buttermilk pancakes, a slice of French toast, or a biscuit and gravy.

Although this shirt has a pretty impressive value, there is a small catch. According to the website, Denny’s only sells 150 of these shirts, making it really a situation if you snooze, you lose. Each shirt’s QR code is valid through December 31, 2023, one offer per table per day, dining only.

“This year has been particularly tough on Americans’ pockets,” said Denny’s president John Dillon. “At Denny’s, we’re always looking for new ways to provide value to our guests while spoiling them with delicious food, so it was a natural decision for us to create an innovative, unique wearable offering to unveil at Black Friday. The wearable represents a fresh expression of our ongoing commitment to value, and we look forward to hearing what our fans think and seeing the shirts in our restaurants.”

If you’re interested in scoring one of these t-shirts, all you have to do is head over there DinerDrip.com at midnight ET on Nov. 25 (that’s 9 p.m. PT on Nov. 24.)
