David Harbor is arguably the busiest man in superhero cinema. The actor is currently promoting his latest film, the Ultra-Bloody violent night, and will soon begin filming two of his biggest projects to date. The actor even said in a recent interview that he fully expects to film both Lightning strikes and the last season of Stranger things simultaneously bouncing between the two productions as they both film in and around Atlanta.
“It’s going to have to be a back-and-forth with me. They’re going to have to sort of share me,” Harbor said Collider in support of his Christmas movie. “And so it’s kind of like, I don’t know exactly how they do it, but it’s a week on, week off, two weeks on, two weeks off, kind of where I would go back and forth. They’re both included in Atlanta. That might also be structured in a way, but yeah, it’s helpful. So I can literally just shoot a scene in Stranger Things and get in my car and run over to the Marvel scene and maybe shoot a scene there.”
What’s Lightning strikes about?
While Harbor doesn’t know the exact details of the Marvel movie, the Stranger things star told ComicBook.com earlier this month that he knows the overall story, revealing the film’s closing moments should change the MCU forever.
“I haven’t read a script, but I’ve heard the arc of the story and how the story goes,” Harbor said. “It’s very cool. It’s very unique. It also has all that cool action and comedy, from what I’ve been described, and then there’s a bombshell that we’re adding to the universe, which will be very exciting for the movie to do at the end of this particular stage we’re ending.”
When is Lightning strikes be released?
Lightning strikes is scheduled for release on July 26, 2024.
