In an interview with “Fantástico” this Sunday 5, the sisters said that they were very close to their mother and emphasized that the reporter spoke to them about everything, from her adventures around the world to the episodes of racism that she sorrow. “She’s been to a lot of places I wanted to go. When she traveled, I remember she took her lipstick and we slept, right? And then she wrote something on the mirror: ‘Mom went on a trip, I’ll be back soon, I love you,’” said Maria, aged 15. Glória’s eldest daughter also wrote a letter about her mother that she read during the interview in which the young woman described her as a “great woman”.

“She is the bravest person I know. The subjects and adventures she did are certainly not for everyone. Besides being the best mother in the world, she always helped us and always did everything she could to make my sister and I happy. She is the strongest person I know. She struggled a lot. And you can bet I’ll keep fighting here like she did. Mom is now watching us from the sky, along with our grandmother. And I wanted to say that I love you so much and that you have taught us so much. Thank you and I love you,” Maria read emotionally. Laura, 14 years old, also wrote a letter to the journalist and shared what she wrote with Brazil: “Dear mother, I love you very much. I want to be very close to you. You are not close to me, but you can count on us. Kisses, I love you”.
