Daisy Ridley wants to return to Star Wars: “I need a job”

“I mean, I’m open to a call. I’m looking for a job!”

Rey first appeared in Star Wars in The power awakens. She worked at a junkyard until she became involved in the Resistance and the fight against the First Order.

The character discovers she has a connection to the Force and may hold the key to saving the galaxy. She is apprenticed to Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill). At the end of the battle against the Sith, she takes an as yet unknown turn.

Through derivatives, the Star Wars franchise has reused several characters, such as Boba Fett. Rey might have the same chance, even with the opportunity to tell her story after the end of The Rise of Skywalker.

What’s next in the Star Wars franchise?

It is not yet known whether the lucas movie and the disney will produce new Star Wars films that kick off new trilogies. However, both studios are working on different derivatives.

The most popular one The Mandalorian, which will premiere on Disney+ on March 1, 2023. The series follows a bounty hunter and a child with a connection to the Force, who venture across the galaxy through various missions.

There will also be a second season Andor, whose premiere date has not yet been revealed. The plot tells the origin story of smuggler Cassian Andor, as well as the first steps of the Rebel Alliance.
