Daisy Ridley thinks a return as Rey would be “amazing”.

Lucasfilm is having a bit of a renaissance with them Star Wars shows on Disney+ and seem to have gone back to the drawing board with their movie projects. Some of the series they have released so far are The Mandalorian, Boba Fett’s book, Obi Wan Kenobiand Andor, some of which have been fairly well received. But their recent films have received the opposite treatment Star Wars: The Last Skywalker. The Rise of Skywalker star Daisy Ridley has left the franchise and has appeared in several movies since then, but it looks like she would be returning to the galaxy far, far away. In a new interview with The Hollywood ReporterRidley shared how she originally felt she was going to ruin Star Wars and that it would be great if Rey Palpatine returned.

“On the third movie [Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker], I was very present. With the first two, I thought, ‘Oh my God, they picked the wrong person. Oh my god I’m going to ruin it all. Oh my God, oh my God.’ And by the third, I had little time to pause. I still had moments where I thought, ‘Oh my God, am I terrible?’ But I also knew I was working really hard and I was in a really safe environment with a lot of people I already knew,” revealed Ridley. to be. . And for that reason it was my favorite movie experience because I was really taking it all in and none of the joy and excitement was gone. So I felt like I could breathe a little easier. I mean, I loved them all, but it was nice to actually be in my body for that final movie experience.

“Honestly, I have no idea. I feel like Rey’s story ended on a great note with the last movie [Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker]. It’s been an insane three years since that movie came out. I feel like a completely different person. We’ve all been through a huge change in the last three years, with a lot of crazy things happening. So I really don’t know if there are any plans. I just do not know. But in the end I loved my experience, I loved what I got to do and I loved the people I got to work with. So if that happens again, even just once, great. Because the dream is to really be around nice people who make you feel good and make you feel heard while doing a good job.” Ridley added.

Andor is the most recent Star Wars series on Disney+. Diego Luna returns as one of the most interesting characters in the Star Wars universe, Cassian Andor. In May, Brandon Davis of ComicBook.com got a chance to talk to him from Andorprotagonist at Star Wars Celebration, and he reveals that after seeing Andor you won’t believe it Rouge One: A Star Wars Story was possible.

“All I can say is you’re going to see where he was five years ago Villain Oneand you’re not going to believe it Villain One was possible,” Luna told us. “That’s the idea, to see a transformation and an awakening. I can’t tell you how that will show up, you’ll have to wait until August 31. But that’s what matters, and what matters is how much we can all change and transform, and that’s the beauty of storytelling. Not often do you start to know the ending, here you know what happens. It’s not about, like, ‘Oh, this happened!’ No, no, it’s about how it happened. It’s about the little details and what’s between the lines and each layer of the character. Even though we are in a very epic show and a huge spy adventure show, we will have time for intimacy. You go deep into the character and the people around him. It’s going to be interesting, I think, and it’s going to be dark and fun and different from what you see now.”

All episodes of Andor are now streaming exclusively on Disney+!
