The anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man became one of last year’s biggest new series, bringing countless new fans to the tragic story of Denji and a world plagued by man-eating devils who continue to roam the streets in creator Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Shonen Universe. While a second season from Studio MAPPA has yet to be confirmed at this point, the gory manga that started it all continues to release new chapters as Denji finds himself in a fractious relationship that has given fans an interesting glimpse into his new life.

After Makima’s betrayal and her death, the character known as Nayuta was born, with Denji taking it upon herself to raise her despite the Control Devil Power killing the Blood Fiend along with several of the Chainsaw Devil’s other friends. As Asa Mitaka continues to try to turn Denji into a weapon so she can get revenge on the Chainsaw Man using the War Devil’s powers, the two have forged a relationship that seems to have fueled Makima’s reincarnation, hinting at a disaster scenario is coming.
Chainsaw farting competition
Twitter user Denji Unleashed saw that in the last chapter of the gory manga series, Denji and Nayuta had apparently taken part in a “fart contest” with each other, as the two devils went so far as to document the number of farts they had. had in the month of March:

Recently, Denji has proven that he hasn’t changed that much since his earlier days in the series, still being a lovable goof trying to get into a relationship while trying to gain notoriety by revealing his identity every chance he can get. If these current events make their way into the anime adaptation, we can imagine it will be quite some time before we see them on the small screen given how much story season one is covered.
