Chainsaw Man censors the anime’s biggest moment yet

Chainsaw Man hasn’t been shy about watching Denji fight his way through countless devils, with the series even giving us close-ups of the Chainsaw Devil having a blade ripped from his own skull to aid his career. However, with the release of the latest installment of the anime adaptation, one moment that is the most disgusting in the television series to date was so beyond the pale, it has to be censored from how it originally appeared in Tatsuki’s original manga. Fujimoto.

Continuing from the previous episode, Chainsaw Man last time Denji is “sacrificed” by his fellow Devil Hunters in an attempt to free himself from the Infinity Devil, a supernatural force that absorbed a piece of the Gun Devil and trapped them all in a hotel. Unable to leave the establishment, the terrifying creature makes a proposition to the hunters in which it will let them go free if they feed it the Chainsaw Devil. Realizing he has no other choice, Denji takes the opportunity to dive headfirst into the Infinity Devil’s mouth, slicing through the opponent’s many faces and finally knocking him down.

During their first adventure together, the devil hunter Himeno promised Denji that if they escaped with their lives, she would give the Chainsaw Devil his first kiss, but unfortunately for the Shonen protagonist, the eyepatch-wearing femme fatale had also had a little drink. much during their feast:

Himeno “unloading” on Denji is certainly one of the most disgusting moments in the series to date and continues to be so in the Shonen franchise thus far. While the manga gave fans a first look at Denji’s disgusting first kiss, Studio MAPPA’s anime adaptation took it upon themselves to blur the projectile. While this was clearly not how Denji expected his first kiss to go, the episode came to an end as the two devil hunters fell asleep next to each other, while Himeno offered the Chainsaw Devil one more of his dreams he wanted to fulfill.
