To understand this car a little, we have to go back to the early 1960s. Before that time, building bodies made sense. Most regular cars from the era were body-on-frame, meaning you could just roll a bare chassis (or with an engine and maybe drive!) into your bodybuilder of choice, graft some bodywork onto it and have a vehicle, that was no less structurally sound than before and usually better looking.
