I am inconsolable”. In a video circulating on social networks, the comedian seems to be crying when he talks about the idol of the hill team. “Whenever I am asked: Are you Basque because of your father? I always answer no. I am Vasco because of Roberto Dinamite,” he said in a video in which he appears crying. “Thank you, my idol, my friend, for so much you have done for us. Long live Roberto Dinamite, the greatest of them all,” he added. The former player died this Sunday at 8. He had been suffering from colon cancer since 2021 and suffered a deterioration in his health, and had to be admitted. In a note, Vasco da Gama mourned the death of his biggest idol and praised his career and his achievements with the team. “Roberto was Vasco. Vasco was Roberto. In 1974, Dinamite was the real starting point on the way to the club’s first Brazilian championship title, as he was the league’s top scorer with 16 goals scored. In the following years, the initiation with national and state artillery followed,” said the club.
