Actress chose to leave the station after 12 years at home; in that period she made nine telenovelas and a series
The actress Bruna Linzmeyer manifested itself this Monday, 16, on social networks after rejecting the proposal of the Globe to extend his contract by two years. The artist, who spent more than ten years at Rio de Janeiro station, wants to devote herself to cinema and believes that she cannot reconcile the two. Bruna’s last work with Globo was as Madeleine in the first stage of the remake of “Pantanal”. “I never dreamed of being an actress, but I dreamed of absolutely everything this job brings me. I had no idea of the immense glow in my heart that being an artist would bring me, how many worlds I would know, how many ‘people’. There are 12 years at home, 12 years of formal employment, nine soap operas, one series, two main characters. And they all intertwine, intrinsically, who I am,” Bruna explained in an Instagram post.
The artist defined Globo as a space that welcomes and educates. “It allows every little madness that permeates a character’s construction. It makes me grow, it makes me better, smarter, more confident for the sake of my generosity, my listening, my strangeness. The magic of television is stuck on my retina and I will always feel at home with this company. I will already be nervous, characterized and about to enter those studios again ”, scored. Bruna also thanked the professionals with whom she has worked at the station during these 12 years. “I look to the future, excited about what’s to come and so thankful for the story that got me here. A story that is still being written. I am immensely grateful to the people I have worked with, all they have taught me and the confidence in my work as it is what now gives me the desire and maturity to pursue multiple paths. Thank you very much for the opportunity to work, for the dignity that exists through work, for the recognition and for the future that is possible from now on. Goodbye, TV Globo.”
