The model Juliana Nehme managed to board a flight to Doha, Qatar, on the afternoon of this Thursday 24. The Brazilian’s case suffered repercussions after she reported on social networks that she was not allowed to board a flight in Lebanon last Tuesday, the 22nd, because she was “too fat”. “It all happened so fast. I was at the embassy and they told me to come to the airport. Qatar eventually relented and they accepted that I could make the trip, me and my mother, as I bought it, without having to pay the fine and without having to pay for the extra seat,” the model said in her Instagram stories. As Juliana previously reported, the airline informed her that she could only make the trip if she bought two seats or if she changed her ticket from economy class to business class. After exposing the matter virtually, she received help from the Brazilian ambassador to Lebanon. Already on the plane, the model said that she will spend up to four hours on the flight doha and from there take another flight to São Paulo. “I want to thank everyone who helped me. I have no words, I can’t thank you. I will pray for everyone,” said the Brazilian visibly moved. “As for the allegations that I was rude and arguing with the servants, that’s a lie! They are trying to camouflage what they did to me.”
